Saute whatever you have leftover in the fridge–spinach, tomato, onion, mushrooms, etc. and add it to a two (or three) egg omelet with some cheese. Repurposing Bank Bags and Finding Great Deals

I am always on the lookout for a new way to use traditional items. It’s just how the crafty side of me thinks. I found a site that sells
bank bags in a variety of materials and colors, and get this, you can upload your own artwork. Now, as soon as I saw the bit about uploading my own design, the wheels started turning in my head. How cool would a bank bag turned purse with fabulous design on it be? Would it mean that individuals carrying such a purse would get ripped off by thieves thinking that someone was about to make a huge deposit? Or could it be a total status symbol–as in, “check out my bag–I’ve got so much cash to carry that I need an actual BANK bag!”

The bank bags come in so many colors that if you wanted to print up a variety of designs, you’d have a variety of colors as well. You could have an entire display of these bags at a craft show.

Of course, if you work in the banking industry, or for a business that needs to make large deposits of cash and checks, this would be a good resource. I’m sure many more people use bank bags for their intended purpose rather than repurposing them!

Cheap Fixes for a Computer

I took my computer to the shop the other day, and the guy couldn’t figure out what was wrong with it. The computer wasn’t recognizing its CD/DVD drive, and it was driving me crazy! Since he didn’t know what was wrong, he didn’t charge me a cent, which was great, because I ended up fixing it myself, which saved me lots of bucks!

I ended up looking for a driver upgrade for the device, and found a patch “for the known issue of the computer not recognizing the drive”. It took five seconds to install the patch, and a couple of minutes to restart the computer. Ta da! Fixed, for free! And fast!
